It is my goal to help you discover how you can begin to care for yourself through the power of food and nutrition. For me, dietary changes were the catalyst for an ever-evolving health journey, and if this is something that resonates with you, I'd love to be your partner, cheerleader, and educator in getting started, or as you continue along your path.

I am grateful for many, many things in life, and I am especially thankful for the opportunity to teach, collaborate, and guide in nutritional well-being. I find the impact of food fascinating, the art of cooking gloriously satisfying, and the opportunity to help one another deeply rewarding.

My holistic approach to nutritional wellness includes more than just food. Emotions, thoughts, behaviors, lifestyle, spirituality, and history all play a significant role in overall health. Food, though, can be a powerful starting point in creating awareness, preventing illness, and giving yourself the space to transform.

My own personal health journey has taken many twists and turns, and continues to evolve. As a Holistic Nutritionist, my intention is to aid individuals in reaching their highest potential by utilizing the powerful effects of life-giving foods. I’m also a strong believer in bio-individuality; we are all unique individuals, and what works for some, might not work for others. Perhaps this is why our own experience with health can be confusing at times, but with awareness, education, and loving guidance, the journey can indeed be gratifying.

Another one of my goals as a Holistic Nutritionist is to provide information, programs, and services for teachers and students, especially those teaching or attending Title I schools. My own experience as an elementary school teacher in East Oakland, CA has given me great compassion for students of low-income communities and the teachers that serve in these schools. I currently work in collaboration with The Teaching Well leading nutrition workshops that teach educators how to care for themselves with energy-giving foods so that they can best serve their students.

Thanks for reading about me, and I hope to meet you soon!

With love,
